Floodcraft Brewing | Oakland, CA

This underutilized area in the Oakland Whole Foods Market has had many iterations. With the highest sales volume of beer in the company, a taproom featuring beer from Whole Foods Market’s in-house microbrewery, Floodcraft Brewing Co., seemed like the perfect proposition. The front part of the store is designated a historic building built in 1890 and used as a cable car powerhouse. In 1925, the building was repurposed as a Cadillac dealership. We honored the landmark nature of the site by creating a comfortable speakeasy vibe complete with vintage car parts and a Cadillac flair.
